Bean’s Beagles Rescue

Mocha

Mocha is a sweet but energetic 2-year-old Beagle rescued from a shelter in San Diego. Mocha had been hit by a car, her leg was repaired but then became infected, and she needed an amputation. Thankfully, Mocha runs around as if she is unaware she is a tri-pawd beagle and keeps up with all of the other dogs. She is ready to find a loving foster or forever home. In Mocha's past foster home, she demonstrated some resource guarding and she can be reactive to other dogs at times. She will need consistent obedience training, as she has been through a lot in two years with multiple homes, an amputation, and general adjustment to many changes in her life. Luckily, she is very responsive to training and has recently learned quickly to sit calmly, lie down, leave it, and roll over! Mocha loves car rides, pack walks with friends, outings to the park, playing fetch with her tennis ball, pup cups, and snuggling. She would love to find her forever home after all she has been through, she is such a sweet loving beagle!
