This policy applies to information processed by Bean’s Beagles through our publicly available website and online forms. It does not cover third‑party sites we link to (see Third‑party services below).

Application details: household and housing information (e.g., landlord info if applicable), schedule, pet experience, references (names, emails/phones), veterinarian info.
Volunteer details: availability, skills, preferences.
Donor details: name, email, donation amount; payment card data is collected and processed by each payment processor (e.g., Venmo, PayPal, Amazon, etc.) Financial data is never stored by Bean’s Beagles.
Communications: questions, emails, or messages you send us.
B. Automatically collected (site & device data)
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, time on site, referral URL.

C. Information from others (when you ask us to contact them or verify info)
References & vets: feedback from references or veterinary clinics you identify.
Social or partner referrals: information from rescue partners when coordinating placements or transports.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data unless it is volunteered and necessary for placement decisions (for example, accessibility or household considerations you choose to disclose). Please share only what is relevant to your application.

Run our rescue operations: review and manage adoption/foster/volunteer applications; schedule home checks; coordinate transport; communicate updates.
Process donations and acknowledgments.
Provide and improve the site: troubleshoot, analyze usage, and enhance content.

References you identified: we may contact and receive information from references and veterinarians you list on your application.

We do not sell personal information. We do not allow third parties to use your information for their own marketing without your permission.
5) Payments & donations
If you donate, your payment is processed by a third‑party payment processor (e.g., Venmo, Paypal). That processor collects and processes your payment card data pursuant to its own privacy policy and security certifications. We receive limited information necessary for donation records (e.g., donor name, amount, date, and contact details).

We (and our service providers) use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the site. Types include:
