Meet Tito!
Tito is 5 years old, and he joins us in partnership with our wonderful friends Cage to Couch rescue who do amazing work rescuing beagles from laboratory testing facilities and finding loving forever homes in Southern California.
Tito was updated on his vaccinations today (May 12th) at our vet, and our welcoming committee, Finn and Katy brought him home to our rescue. He enjoyed his first bath, towel dry, brushing, and gravitated toward Finn, who was giving him tips on “how to beagle”. 
Tito was feeling brave, as he went on his first walk with Finn, doubled leashed out of caution as he’s just learning. He was not interested in running away though, he seems to know we’re here to help. Finn told him “don’t worry Tito, doc is nice, these beagle ladies are great, and everything is going to be just fine!” 
Tito will need an exceptionally patient person as an adopter. He knows very little about how to beagle outside of a cage, and everything is new, may be scary, or frightening to him. While he is not a Ridglan beagle from the news, he is one of the many thousands of other beagles and animals that has been subjected to animal testing in a lab, and is experiencing his first days of freedom. He will be looking for his very special forever home.
