Reese was surrendered by owner to our rescue on June 2nd. His owners could no longer care for him due to having a newborn and the other dog in the home wasn’t getting along with him, picking on him.

Reese is 12 years old, a purebred beagle purchased from a breeder. He is good with little and big dogs, unknown for cats, and recommended for homes with children over 5. He rides well in the car, is housetrained fully, and walks well on the leash, such as his daily walks with the welcoming committee. Reese is as sweet as candy like his name, his fur is fluffy, he is of smaller stature, and a very handsome senior beagle.

He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease, though is otherwise healthy. He takes one daily medication and will likely need to take it for his lifetime. Reese is a serious eater, so he does need to eat with a puzzle feeder and sure likes his treats. He deserves all the treats and love after all he has been through.
