Meet Riley
Riley is our newest rescue, she came to us from the San Diego Humane Society on December 16th. Riley is a petite beagle, weighing only 14 pounds, though she appears underweight and will work on getting to a healthy weight in her foster home. She loves to snuggle, be held, and walks well on the leash. She appears house-trained, rides well in the crate, and gets along with people and dogs.
Riley has been diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease by our veterinarian upon intake and is taking oral medications. Our vet is confident she will do fine with medication onboard. Riley is a happy, sweet beagle girl, and we hope to find a loving home who will continue to support her medical needs and give her a safe place to recover. If you need a snuggle puppy who loves to sit on your lap, snuggle up in the blankets, and go with you everywhere, Riley might be your beagle!
